Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinic
A pediatric ophthalmologist diagnoses and treats vision defects and eye diseases in children and teenagers. Early examinations are key to detecting and treating them. Vision defects and eye diseases that go undetected and uncorrected in early childhood can cause vision problems for life. At our pediatric ophthalmology clinic we offer comprehensive diagnostics and treatment of various eye conditions, and we also carry out preventive activities aimed at preventing them.

At the pediatric ophthalmology clinic our specialists diagnose and treat:
- vision defects
- eye alignment disorders
- binocular vision disorders
- manifest and latent strabismus
- amblyopia (lazy eye)
- retinopathy of prematurity
- eye diseases such as glaucoma or congenital cataract

Join us for orthoptic exercises
Orthoptic exercises are easy and safe, and vision therapy with an orthoptist is painless. It involves, among other things, eye movements, explaining and demonstrating the correct use of the eyes, binocular vision exercises, and work on visual-motor and visual-auditory coordination. In the specialist’s office, aids such as accessories placed in front of the eyes are used, through which patients look and describe what they see.
A referral for orthoptic exercises is issued by an ophthalmologist.
